Like every night there is just goin a be these huge jammers with all this booze and crazy people just getting fucking wasted and having that good time and murdering everybody. Wednesday night kicks off the 4 night stand of late night parties, for why: no one knows but when its over it will be truth.
Titus Andronicus is a really special band from Glen Rock New Jersey. They are really a bunch of really nice guys playing really heartfelt rock music. Like the intersection of Guided By Voices, Andrew WK, and Neutral Milk Hotel.
They were interviewed on MTV by John Norris and they were given BEST NEW MUSIC status by Pitchforkmedia.com . Big shots but really nice dudes, I posted a video below, really fun stuff. Give them a listen, this is music without pretense and without any video game noises.

Mouser will be joining the show as well. We’ve been working on lots of new jams and I’m finally really excited about playing with my favorite band ever again for real no bullshit. This show is also special because it marks the return of the venerable/venereal KETCHUP FART. There aren’t any touring bands on this show — this one is actually for fun. Bitter Fruits is a new band with Jeff Tobias , Sam Grindstaff (titans of filth) and Me Mercer. We have 3 songs and they’re all kinda different. Accidental vocal stylings are like icing on a cake. We got a good response for our first show. We are hurtling head-on into our second show.
divided like a saint’s keeps celebrating cd releases but then we play too late for anybody to watch us play. BUT we have a new cd!! its really awesome and I am just so proud of it. We have new songs as well and man can’t we all just once get fucking wasted? just once?
Most importantly, my favorite band in town is playing :: TUNABUNNY. If you have not catched Tunabunny: The Fever then you are a piece of shit. Shit-yeah music and like Just Do It pump-up nike-style jams on pills.

Here we have some eclectic samplings from a bunch of Athens bands. Fashion Knee High makes Talking Heads-y all over the place pop music, they are really fun and will enjoy your attention.
Daffodil is still the best band in town, they have the best guitar solos on earth and they harken back to a time when music was fun and about fucking.
Rounding out the night is the return of the Visitations. Davy has been fishing all summer and he’s about to go on tour. Luckily he is bringing the jamms to the place for before he goes away again. Really fun and ponderous folky non-techno eclectronics.

THIS IS THE MOTHER SHIP, killer Whales from Chicago. Please give a listen to these guys, they are the most inspiring out-of-town band I have heard in the past year or two of doing shows. Really way too fun, they blew the ass out of Whartscape and are associated with my other favorite band Bird Names. Killer Whales makes blissful tropical afro-jams that are heavy on the reggae but jacked up on some kind of stupid. Falsetto hobo-gang vocals and really deft guitar playing and mellifluous bass work — I can’t sing their praises high enough.
quiet hooves will be back and more in action! Our stand-in bass player Greg (lickity splits, bubbly mommygun, telenovela) is like a bass wizard. We will be playing some new songs as well as all of your old favorites.
Sleeping Friends is also my favorite band in town. Sloppy and intricate garage-y bossanova pop music that is just a little too clever. How come nobody is too clever anymore ? why so stupid? Give a listen to sleeping friends above and see how many words they can cram into a song — long live the literate pop jamms.
